University of Thessaly
University of Thessaly (UTH), established in 1984, spans the entire region of Thessaly, with campuses in the cities of Volos, Larissa, Trikala, Karditsa and Lamia. UTH has 18 academic departments offering a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in science and engineering, with over 12000 students.
UTH participates in the project via the Computer Systems Laboratory (CSL) of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in Volos. CSL members have significant research and development expertise in embedded systems, operating systems, parallel systems, distributed systems and programming models, bringing together expertise in hardware-near and higher-level system-level software, including drivers, operating systems and runtime systems for embedded to high-performance computing systems. CSL members have participated in many international research projects.
